Meet Emma Wagstaff, the newest member of Salt Lake NutriCoaching. Emma is a passionate Registered Dietitian dedicated to helping you achieve optimal wellness. Emma completed her Dietetics degree at Brigham Young University and continued to expand her knowledge and skills through a comprehensive nine-month Dietetic Internship Program at the University of Houston, focusing on clinical nutrition. She has experience working in multiple clinical hospitals as well as community settings. She specially loved her time interning at Boise State University with the Sports Dietitian.
Emma believes wellness extends beyond just food, and that nutrition is intricately intertwined with psychological, physical, emotional, and social elements of our lives. As a dietitian, she strives to help clients foster a positive relationship with food, which is crucial to your overall well-being and long-term success in achieving nutrition goals. Food is meant to bring joy and nourishment rather than guilt or restrictions. Her approach to wellness is grounded in realism, understanding that everyone is at a different point in their journey. She will meet you where you’re at today, navigating the challenges and celebrating the victories, as she is committed to helping you make real, lasting changes that positively impact your overall well-being.
Emma’s ultimate goal is to empower you to feel your best by addressing the underlying factors contributing to your symptoms. She is dedicated to dive deeper into identifying the root cause of your concerns and guide you towards long-lasting, sustainable progress.
Beyond her professional role she loves to get lost in a good book (mostly cheesy rom coms), can’t help but go on leisurely walks when the suns out, and is not afraid to travel when it comes to good food. She is officially known as a true “foodie” by her family and friends.
